Joanna Lin ‘24

Co-President

Joanna is a senior from Fargo, North Dakota. She is in the Huntsman dual-degree program studying Real Estate in Wharton and International Studies, with a French specialization and minoring in Art History. Joanna will be joining Bain Capital’s Real Estate Investments group full-time, and previously interned in Blackstone’s Real Estate Acquisitions group, Starwood Property Trust, and Artemis Real Estate Partners. She was an exchange student for the spring of 2023 at Sciences Po Paris, and in her free time she enjoys traveling, art history and architecture, foreign languages and Ben & Jerry’s.

Elijah Levine ‘24

Elijah is a senior at Wharton concentrating in real estate and finance. Elijah speaks all six languages of the United Nations (English, Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, French, and Arabic), he is also the President of his fraternity. During COVID, Elijah took two gap years to work full time in private equity real estate at Bridge Investment Group. At Bridge, he reported directly to the CEO as a strategy and FP&A analyst where he was heavily involved in the company's operations and new initiatives.

Elijah has also worked with Sotheby's and The Economist, as well as on several startups and non-profits. Most recently, Elijah co-founded Black Mountain Investment Group, which builds and invests in the world's best businesses. Black Mountain's private portfolio boasts the largest skatepark directory in the US and advanced portfolio tracking software designed specifically for fund managers with complex needs.

Jed Chew ‘26

Jed is a sophomore from Singapore majoring in Urban Studies with minors in Real Estate and Public Policy. This summer, Jed was based in the Bay Area where he worked on an urban design and resiliency project for the San Francisco waterfront. Outside of WUREC, he is a Fellow in Urban Leadership with the Penn Institute of Urban Research, a consultant with Wharton MUSE Generalist Division and Case Team, and the co-president of Club Singapore. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new places through hiking, kayaking, and public transit.

Joshua is a sophomore from Malvern, Pennsylvania concentrating in Real Estate and Finance. In addition to WUREC, Joshua is involved with the Wharton Asia Exchange, Penn Barbell Club, and Powerlifting@Penn. This past summer, Joshua interned at HSB on the service operations team in Valley Forge, PA where he worked to increase business process efficiency. In his free time, Joshua enjoys lifting, cooking, and listening to The Neighborhood.

Marissa Yee ‘25

Marissa is a junior from Eastampton, New Jersey. She studies Finance at Wharton and minors in Fine Arts. Outside of WUREC, Marissa is involved in Penn Blockchain, Penn Cheer, and serves as the Spring Fling Concerts Director. This past summer, she joined the Deal Team at Hunter Point Capital, a PE shop doing GP stakes. Previously, she interned at Cooper Square Acquisitions, where she developed a passion for end-to-end real estate investing. In her free time, Marissa enjoys country music, playing the bagpipes, and developing film in the darkroom

Mia Calvo ‘26

Mia is a sophomore from Paris, France studying PPE with minors in Architecture and Real Estate. This past summer, she interned at LVMH Hotel Management, working in both the development and sales teams for its luxury hotel chains. She is passionate about the structural, social, and decorative facets of the built environment and has taken a strong interest in the Real Estate industry shortly after joining WUREC. In the following year, she organized real estate conferences in her home country, bringing speakers from numerous French realty enterprises to speak on a variety of topics. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling, dancing, and discovering new artists.

Alejandra Soria Andrade ‘25

Alejandra is a junior in the Huntsman Dual-Degree Program, originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, pursuing Business Analytics and Finance at the Wharton School, while also minoring in Portuguese and Italian Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences. As a Penn World Scholar, Alejandra is dedicated to global understanding and gender inclusion, and her passion lies in the world of finance and investments, particularly in areas such as private equity, real estate, and alternative investments. In her free time, she loves traveling, learning new languages, hiking, reading Brazilian poetry, and pistachio ice cream!

Daniel Dvorak ‘24

Daniel is a senior from Prague, Czech Republic studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics in the College and minoring in Real Estate and Development with Wharton. Along with WUREC, he is involved with Wharton Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club, Wharton Alliance, the IAA, and has assisted PHD research in the OIDD department. Daniel has worked as a Technology Consultant for PWC for the past two summers and he is currently considering offers for next summer. In his free time, Daniel enjoys hiking, reading philosophy and learning new languages.

Caitlin Levine ‘25

Caitlin is a junior from New York City studying Real Estate and Finance at Wharton. Along with WUREC, she is involved with the Wharton Investment and Trading Group’s Real Estate team. She is also a part of the Venture Initiation Program where she is working on app development. Caitlin previously interned at BentallGreenOak and Kushner Companies where she worked across different asset classes and geographies. In her free time she enjoys Zumba, cooking, and playing tennis.

Harjap Singh ‘24

Harjap is a senior from Princeton, New Jersey studying Finance and Real Estate at Wharton. He's very passionate about the real estate space and is excited to be treasurer this year. This past summer Harjap worked at MSD Partners in their Credit Opportunities Fund. Next summer, Harjap will be joining Blackstone's Real Estate Acquisitions team in New York. Outside WUREC Harjap is also involved in Penn Blockchain, Intercol (Penn's collegiate Model UN team), and also the Wharton Investment and Trading Group. In his free time, he also enjoys Spikeball, Poker, Golf, and also visiting new restaurants in Philly.

Kendal Seymore is a senior from Chicago, Illinois concentrating in Finance and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. In addition to WUREC, he is President of the Google Student Developers Club and a member of the Wharton Undergraduate Deans Advisory Board, the Penn Innovation Network, and the University of Pennsylvania Club Tennis Team. In his free time, he enjoys watching Formula 1, traveling, hiking, spending time with friends and exploring entrepreneurship.

Margaux Dacremont Kobouloff ‘25

Margaux is a junior from Cannes, France studying Finance and Real Estate, with a minor in Russian language. Margaux will be joining Goldman Sachs Real Estate External Investment Group next summer in NYC. She previously interned in MAG Partners in RE development and in the Fouquet's Hotel in NYC in hotel management. She also worked in the Penn Carey Law School in the Business Affairs Office. On the long term she hopes to invest in the hospitality industry. Outside of WUREC, she is also the founder of Scholars of Real Estate and enjoys golfing, cooking, photography, traveling and skiing.

Josh is a junior from Stamford, CT studying Economics and minoring in Urban Real Estate and Development. Next summer, Josh will be joining Blackstone’s Strategic Partners Real Estate Group in NYC, and previously interned at CBRE and Atlas Real Estate Partners. In addition to WUREC, Josh is involved with the Wharton Investment and Trading Group and the Netter Center for Community Partnerships. Having gone his whole life being mentored, he loves to pay it forward. In his free time, Josh loves to run, travel, volunteer, and play sports with friends.

Bianca is a junior from Chicago, Illinois studying Real Estate and Finance in Wharton. Along with WUREC, she is president of Wharton FGLI and involved with Wharton Latino and WUFC. Bianca will be joining Blackstone’s Real Estate Acquisitions group in NYC next summer, and she just finished up an internship with Two Sigma Real Estate. Outside of work and school, she enjoys traveling, baking, nature walks, and listening to Bad Bunny.

Mateusz Jakubek ‘26

Mateusz Jakubek is a sophomore from Reykjavik, Iceland, who is passionately pursuing Real Estate and Finance at Wharton, with a distinct focus on Private Equity. Beyond WUREC, Mateusz is an active member of the Wharton Undergraduate Consulting Club, Wharton Business and Law Association, and Penn Blockchain. Throughout recent years, Mateusz has enjoyed exploring and accumulating knowledge and skills across various business sectors. Recently, Mateusz has gained valuable insights while working at an Asset Management Company, where he focused on the intricate landscape of real estate. As well, he joined both a Consulting company and an emerging online bank, providing him with vast financial knowledge. In his free time, Mateusz enjoys reading financial statements, playing sports, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his friends.

Areeb Alam ‘25

Areeb is a junior from Phoenix, Arizona studying CS, minoring in Consumer Psychology. He previously interned at McKinsey, but more recently, co-founded an alternative investment data research firm, Avenir Insights. The company works to provide portfolio managers with propriety data around public firms investor news sentiment and supply chain developments, and its clientele includes 6 of the 10 largest US asset managers. Areeb is involved with the Zell Lurie center, and invests in multiple townhomes within university city. In his free time, he enjoys competing in triathlons, and scuba diving.
